ถ้ายังจำกันได้เมื่อวันที่ 27 มกราคม 2553 ที่ผ่านมาทาง Apple ได้จัดงานเพิ่อเปิดตัวสินค้าชิ้นใหม่ล่าสุด ภายใต้บัตรเชิญที่ถูกส่งถึงนักข่าวว่า “Come see our latest creation” ซึ่งในครั้งนั้นที่เราได้ทราบผลคือ Apple ได้เปิดตัวปลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ที่ได้ชื่อว่า iPad และจากคุณสมบัติ 1 ข้อที่ถูกนำเสนอออกมาว่า iPad สามารถรันทำงานในการพรีเซนต์ได้ 10 ชม. หลายคนก็เลยไม่เชื่อจึงเกิดเป็นข้อสงสัยตามมา
ดังนั้นเองเหล่าสาวก Apple หลายคนได้อีเมลไปถามข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับเรื่องนี้เป็นจำนวนมาก ทำให้สตีฟต้องตอบอีเมลเหล่านั้นจำนวนมากกลับไป (แต่เป็นเพียงการลงท้ายชื่อเมลว่าเป็นชื่อของสตีฟ จ๊อบ) ซึ่งหลายคนที่ได้รับก็ไม่ปักใจเชื่อได้ 100% เต็ม จนกระทั่งได้คำตอบออกมาจากสตีฟ ว่า “ฉันไม่ได้ตอบเมลล์นั้นนะ แต่ว่าเรื่อง iPad ทำงานได้ 10 ชม. นั้นทำได้จริง”
